Just a little bit cute went to market........................

As promised here are some pics of the bits and pieces I have been creating, at my little market table yesterday. Nappy cakes, Kids Nightlights, Sewing Kits and Lanterns. As you can see everything is just a little bit cute! If you see anything you like you can email me at justalittlebitcute@xtra.co.nz, I can make the nightlights in custom fabrics/colours/themes.  I am already thinking of the next market or two and I  hope to be part of the next Shop Me Pretty Market, a night market starting up here in Christchurch, the first one is confirmed being held at St Barnabas on April 18th details here on Facebook at : https://www.facebook.com/home.php?ref=hp#!/ShopMePretty.   Better get busy and keep creating!

To market to market.........................................

Just a little bit cute has become crafty of late (that's me!) and I have made a few of my ideas into reality.  A good friend of mine Jemma, (I know you will be reading this Jems)  had a small House Market  (Jemma knows a few like minded crafty souls and got us all together with friends and friends of friends for a coffee and craft morning) and it was great to see peoples reactions to my creations and I sold a few too!  It makes you feel so good!  So I thought I would share a few pics in my next post but first I would  like to share some of the other stallholders bits and pieces that are of course a little bit cute.........................................................

Pretty Bird Jewellery  - I loved the necklaces so much I got confused and couldnt decide! Beautiful designs and lots to choose from, check out more at: http://www.prettybirds.co.nz/

Taka Taka www.takataka.co.nz - loved the wall art and am deciding between getting Lilys name or some more birds to go in her room (seriously how may birds can one child have in her room!)

BubbleandSqueak Kids Clothing - http://www.kidsclothesonline.co.nz/ - lots of cute kids clothes that are unique and reasonably priced and  these cute fabric letters

Socks not cute...........Not socks a little bit cute!

http://www.notsocks.co.nz/

I have discovered the world of online gift shopping and my friends over at Not Socks have everything you need for all those important occasions.  Their philosophy is simple:  "Let’s be honest, no matter how you try to disguise them, socks still make a pretty crappy gift. Here at Not Socks we’re all about fun, fresh and thoughtful gifts... and socks just don’t cut it.
Rest assured, you’ll never find any socks, hankies, pen sets or housework-related gifts on the site. If you do happen to see any of them (or any of their close relatives for that matter) sneak their way onto the site, be sure to let us know!"
I have posted some of my favourites that are of course just a little bit cute. I love love the moustache teething toy and Sophie the Giraffe teething toy............(yes we have a teether in our house at the moment!)

For you Mr Richards

Two years ago today we got married and these are a couple of my fav. photos from our special day.  We had them taken down Poplar Lane which is sadly no more, which is such a shame, it was one of my fav. places, I used to walk past it most days on my way to work and loved the vintage feel about it..  I had the pleasure of finding a surprise anniversary gift this morning and of course it was just a little bit cute, my husband tends to surprise me when I least expect it always keeping me on my toes. It was a beautiful bracelet, which was gorgeous and he had bought it for me knowing that sometimes my Pandora bracelet can be a bit bulky to wear but not to leave my Pandora out he bought it another charm aswell, now that's not only just a little bit cute but definately worth some more brownie points towards Husband of the Year!  So there you go Mr Richards, as I know you will be reading this, I finally mentioned you on my blog x

Who says Easter has to be about the chocolate?

I found the cutest Easter crafts over at Kidspot tonight, I like the idea of doing something crafty and unique rather than buying a mass produced chocolate egg from the many stores that are heaving with them at the moment.

I also love the idea
of an Easter tree...............just a little bit cute!
And then I found this..........
And this.......................
I think I will make Lily one which will be useful for future Easters when she gets older for the many Easter treats I know her Grandparents will spoil her with!
Head on over to:

and see all the eggciting things to make!

CHCH Crafty Crafters

Sorry for the lack of posts the last week, Lily and I have been sick with colds so there wasn't alot of time for blogging and lets face it colds are not a little bit cute but a big old pain!  To brighten up our weekend
we headed out to the Swannanoa School Fair and I was blown away by not only how big it was but also at the craftiness I saw.  It has made me more inspired and determined to get an idea off the ground I have been thinking about for a while, after a few ideas bit the dust!
In Christchurch we have had a few markets pop up which is very exciting, its just trying to decide which ones to go to, here are some that are popping up in March, if anyone knows of any others please comment below.  Some of my fav stallholders at Swannanoa were:
Bubble and Squeak Clothing http://www.bubbleandsqueak.co.nz/
Ameliorate Designs www.felt.co.nz/shop/ameliorate
Little Drop Design http://www.littledrop.felt.co.nz/
Fabric Fixation http://www.fabricfixation.co.nz/
Mudbird http://www.mudbird.co.nz/
And my just a little bit cute find was this! I thought these were so cute I wanted to buy them all and put them in a fruit bowl! If you would like one the contact details on the tag are: sonia.marshall.hihi@gmail.com
